• What is considered a 'Group Reservation'

Parties of 9 or more guests are considered group reservations to ensure the best possible dining experience. Larger parties require additional planning, table arrangements, and coordinated service. You can reserve your table through OpenTable by selecting one of our Group Dining Experiences, or submit an inquiry through our Events team for personalized assistance.

• What type of menus I have available? 
  We offer three curated family-style group menus: Alegría ($75 per guest), Rumba ($90 per guest), and Verbena ($110 per guest). Each menu is inspired by the Spanish tradition of gathering around the table and sharing dishes together.

• Can I book as a large party but go 'a la carte'?

Parties of 9–12 guests may choose our A Tu Ritmo option, which offers the flexibility to order from our regular menu with a minimum spend of $85 per guest, in place of one of our curated group menus.​

• Does everyone in the group need to select the same menu? 

Yes. Our family-style menus are designed to be shared, so all guests enjoy the same menu. We can accommodate most dietary preferences, allergies, and restrictions with advance notice.

• Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Yes. We can accommodate most dietary preferences, allergies, and restrictions with advance notice. While we take every precaution, our kitchen handles common allergens and cross-contamination may occur. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance so we can discuss your needs and determine whether we can safely accommodate them.

 

• ​What if the party size changes?

You may modify your party size up to 24 hours before your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.​

• How long is the group dining experience?

​Group reservations are allocated a 3-hour dining experience to ensure a seamless experience for both your party and other guests. While we understand some celebrations may run longer, extending your reservation beyond the allotted time may not be possible due to subsequent bookings.

• Can I bring a cake?

Yes. You're welcome to bring a cake for your celebration. A cake-cutting fee of $15/cake.

 

• Can I decorate the table?

You can decorate the table with candles or other decorations that are not disruptive to the rest of the guests. Balloons, For special requests, please contact events@macarenarestaurant.com. We also offer in-house floral arrangements starting at $50 per arrangement to make your celebration even more memorable.

 

• Can we split the bill?

Yes. We can split the final bill into up to three separate payments. For reservations booked through our Events team (rather than OpenTable), we can also charge the credit card on file if requested.

 

• Is a deposit required? 

No. A deposit is not required for group reservations. However, to confirm your booking, we require acceptance of our Terms & Conditions—either by signing the agreement through OpenTable or, for reservations booked through our Events team, by signing your event proposal.​​

• Can children attend a group dining experience?

Absolutely. We welcome guests of all ages and are happy to host family celebrations.

• Children under 5 – free of charge.

• Children ages 5–12 are offered a children's menu for $45 per guest.

• Guests ages 13 and older are considered regular guests and follow the selected group menu or A Tu Ritmo minimum spend requirements.
